As a single mum, Zsuzsa wanted a business that would give her the flexibility to work around her family and she could choose her hours. Having worked in the care industry for a time, Zsu knew that there was a demand for foot health practitioners who could do home visits and armed with this information she decided to retrain as a practitioner.

As a fully insured and qualified foot health practitioner, Zsu offers a comprehensive range of foot care treatments in her client’s homes in and around Clevedon. Working within the community helping people is something that Zsu has always enjoyed and having her own business provides her with the flexibility to manage her own time to fit in with her family demands and also help people who want a convenient foot care service at home.

Zsu accessed the free business advice available from NSEA and continues to get support as and when she needs it. The NSEA business adviser was able to provide her with the foundations she needed to set up her business and ensure that she had access to all the information necessary to start trading successfully.

Initially Zsu still carried on working as a care assistant but with the increase in clients, she has been able to give up her job and now focusses on her growing and successful business full-time

When asked about what advice she would give to other people thinking about starting their own business Zsu said “Don’t hesitate, go for it and don’t be shy to ask for support”.
