We are pleased to announce that NSEA have been nominated for a prestigious communications award by our own industry body.
The National Enterprise Network (NEN), representing the enterprise support sector across England, recently unveiled its shortlist for its annual industry awards 2015, with NSEA being one of four organisations shortlisted in the category of Enterprise Communicator of the Year.
The shortlisted organisations are all nominated by NEN for their outstanding communications with both the Network and beyond, highlighting the range and types of work the enterprise support sector undertakes.
The award, sponsored by Journolink, sees NSEA representing the South West up against Economic Solutions Ltd, which delivers skills, employment and recruitment services primarily in Greater Manchester and the North of England; NE-BIC – quality certified organisations that support the development and growth in the North East and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
Winners will be announced and awards presented by well-known broadcaster Declan Curry at the NEN Annual Conference in London on Friday November 27.
Over the last 12 months we have been making the news for the many local businesses we have helped to start-up and grow within the local community.
NSEA’s CEO Angela Hicks says the team is delighted with the recognition it has been awarded.
“Being highlighted from among all of the enterprise agencies and teams working across the UK for the way that we communicate is an enormous accolade – and came as a complete surprise!” says Angela.
“It’s always important for us to try to communicate what we do because we are keen for as many businesses as possible to access the free or low-cost support we offer that will provide good foundations for business success. We also work closely with the businesses that we support and it’s always a pleasure to draw attention to their successes, in which we have proudly played a role.
“I am thrilled for both our internal team and our Crackerjac PR consultancy team and we now all have our fingers firmly crossed for the November awards!”
