The guest speakers have been announced for the next meeting of the North Somerset Business Club, to be held at our offices, on the 13th of November.
The speakers are:
Andrew Brown, who is a partner in Albert Goodman, specialises in financial planning work for business owners and retirees; will talk on “understanding the impact of the Government’s new regulations on Workplace Pensions and Auto-enrolment (which came into effect on 01 October) and how and when they will affect SMEs in the private sector.
Geoff Bartlett of the Fredericks Foundation. The Fredericks Foundation is a charity that helps disadvantaged people to set up their own business as a means to achieve financial independence whilst rebuilding their confidence and self-esteem.
Geoff will be outlining the business support and microloan funding available for start-ups and small businesses which enables people who cannot access finance through the usual channels, to realise their potential for the benefit of themselves and their families.
Mr Bartlett will also be telling us about how experienced business people in North Somerset are needed to play an invaluable role in providing wisdom and support to people who are taking their first steps in establishing their businesses.
