From 16th – 22nd of November 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) runs for another year. This year’s theme is ‘Make it Happen’ and sets out to inspire people everywhere to explore their potential as business self-starters and innovators.
We can announce a trio of events taking place during the week. These aim to appeal both to local aspiring entrepreneurs who are considering launching their own business and established entrepreneurs who are looking to take their business to the next level.
The GEW activities, all take place at The Hive;
- Monday 16th November – Business Surgery in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Management. The event will allow you to work on real challenges that your business is facing and, using the knowledge and skills of a small group of people, allow you to find real solutions. This event also supports Small Business Saturday.
- Wednesday 18th – Friday 20th November – Starting in Business course. When you’re starting in business it’s important that you get the essentials right. The business start-up course provides information and guidance to help deal with three key issues that are going to be fundamental to the performance and success of your business. They are delivered by an experienced advisor and will give you the opportunity to answer any questions or problems you may have.
- Thurdsay 19th November – A financial planning clinic enabling attendees to enjoy one-to-one advice on financial issues and questions from Chartered Accountant Tony James, a specialist in business services for SMEs.
Chief Executive of North Somerset Enterprise Agency (NSEA) Angela Hicks says,
“NSEA is again proud to partner Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015. This year’s theme ‘Make it Happen’ is important as we’re encouraging people to seize the opportunity and go for it! We’d like participants to just do one thing to become more entrepreneurial, whether it’s getting feedback on your business at our financial clinic, joining in on the Starting in Business course or participating in the business surgery.”
“If there’s ever a time to make it happen, it’s during Global Entrepreneurship Week!”
