B-Corp. Planet Mark. Green Globe. Race-to-zero. Carbon Neutral. SDGs, Fairtrade…
It is becoming increasingly important for organisations and businesses to be able to demonstrate that they are taking sustainability seriously. Consumers and business customers increasingly expect it, and it’s increasingly a way to attract the best employees. This brings with it several challenges:
• How do you know that what you are doing is right, and is sufficient?
• How can you avoid “greenwashing”?
• How can you quickly and easily demonstrate your credentials?
To address these challenges, business often turn to the world of accreditation. A reputable, and meaningful sustainability accreditation is a shorthand way of demonstrating your credentials and showing that a trusted 3rd party has recognised your efforts.
The problem is that there are so many of them – how do you know which one to use?
Whilst we can’t cover every available accreditation this presentation, by Eoin McQuone of Go Climate Positive, will cover the different types of sustainable accreditation available and some of the most well-known programmes, to help you make a choice.
